Lutheran Women in Mission
The Lutheran Women's Missionary League, also known as Lutheran Women in Mission, is an organization within the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. The ladies of this group have as one of their major projects, the gathering of Mites for Missions. As mission dollars are gathered, the LWML provides funding for over $2 million in various mission projects every three years. The local ladies of the Peace Lutheran LWML meet on occasion and also attend Circuit and District LWML gatherings.
