Peace Lutheran Church Leadership
Peace Lutheran Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Greg Rowell
Vicar
Greg Rowell has served the congregation of Peace Lutheran as Vicar for 2 years while he continues his seminary studies thru Concordia Theological Seminary Fort Wayne's; Special Ministry Pastors Program. Having completed two years of instruction he now is eligible for ordination which is scheduled for January 4, 2026. He will serve Peace Lutheran as Pastor from that time forward.
He's been happily married for 25 years to his wife, Stacey. They have 2 grown children: and 1 grandchild. Stacey has worked with animals in various capacities for 28 years, and currently owns and operates a pet grooming and boarding facility.
John Lehenbauer
Pastor Emeritus
Pastor John Lehenbauer has been serving Peace Lutheran since 2020. He retired from full-time pastoral ministry at the end of 2024, He continues to occasionally assist at Peace Lutheran. John grew up in Northwest Ohio. He graduated from Concordia University Nebraska in 1980 and served as a Lutheran High School Chemistry and Math teacher for two years in Washington DC. He graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary in Indiana in 1986, with a Masters of Divinity degree. He has served as Pastor for 38 years prior to retirement from full-time pastoral ministry. He enjoys running, reading, beekeeping, and being a husband, father, and grandfather. John and wife, Renee, are blessed with eight grown children and 15 grandchildren. Renee is also a former Lutheran School Teacher. She has spent most of the last four decades being a homemaker, homeschool teacher, pianist, and handbell choir director, just a few of her many gifts.
